Cam's 5th Grade Camp

Cameron's turn to go to 5th grade camp! He went to the same camp that Nate went to--Camp Seymour close to Gig Harbor. And luckily James got selected to be a counselor again! As you may remember, James never got to have a 5th or 6th grade camp experience so I think we can safely say that he has definitely made up for it now!

Unfortunately they didn't have a great weekend of weather which forced them to do mostly activities inside. But they still made the best of it. Cam had fun dissecting fish, exploring the touch tanks, touching reptiles, doing activities outside in the woods, making up a funny skit with his cabin, doing the all camp campfire, and staying in a cabin with friends.

Here are some fun memories:

If the rain over the weekend wasn't enough, just as the group was about to get on the bus to come home, we started to get tons of snow in the area! By the time they arrived back to Snoqualmie we had a couple inches on the ground! It was a little tricky getting the bus back and then everyone and their bags unloaded in the snow. But I guess it made for a fun adventure too? Never a dull moment.

Overall it was a great core memory for Cam and James and I'm glad they got to experience it together. Only a couple more months and Cameron is done with elementary school! :(

Vancouver

We loved our winter break trip to Vancouver, BC a couple years ago so much that we decided to do it again!  We did a lot of the same stuff as the last trip with also a couple new activities and a new place to stay--the Fairmont!  It was a great little getaway--such a fun city!

And that's a wrap 2025!  Thanks for being a pretty good year!

Ready for 2026!!
